Job Description
Imagine working in the heart of the Surrey Hills, surrounded by countryside, characterful towns, and a genuinely supportive team that wants you to thrive. At [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], that is exactly what we offer.
We are a well established four site practice based across Godalming, Farnham, Chiddingfold and Beacon Hill. Our main clinics in Godalming and Farnham sit within beautiful historic market towns, while Beacon Hill and Chiddingfold offer a relaxed village feel. We are now looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our welcoming and collaborative team.
Role Details
We are passionate about helping our people reach their full potential. Whether your interests lean towards surgery, medicine, or a blend of both, we will support your development with genuine career progression pathways and exposure to the cases you want to build confidence in. Most of your time will be spent at our Godalming practice, with occasional support across our other branches to keep variety in your week.
To help you settle in, we are offering a welcome bonus of up to £5,000 pro rata, along with a relocation allowance of up to £5,000 if required.
Work life balance is not just a phrase here. This role is built around a four day working week, with flexibility on shift patterns within our opening hours of 8:30am to 6:30pm. You will take part in a Saturday rota of 1 in 4, working 8am to 12pm. There are no out of hours requirements, and we are very happy to consider part time applications. A full time position is 40 hours per week.
Practice Facilities
The practice itself has recently undergone a full refurbishment and is exceptionally well equipped. Facilities include a dedicated cat ward, an upstairs theatre, a third consult room, a new main theatre, and modern dental equipment with a dedicated dental x ray room. While we are close to excellent referral centres, we also work with peripatetic surgeons, giving you the opportunity to stay involved and follow your cases through.
Team
You will be joining a large, experienced and friendly team made up of 10 veterinary surgeons, 9 qualified veterinary nurses and 13 support colleagues. Many of our team have been with us for years, and that stability has created a culture where people look out for one another, pitch in when needed, and share a real pride in what they do.
Animal care sits at the heart of everything we do, and we are committed to delivering high quality, compassionate care for both our patients and clients.
