Quantity Surveyor
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their Head Office team in Eastwood, Nottingham. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity with competitive compensation and benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project oversight from inception to completion, ensuring robust cost control.
- Collaborate with clients to assess feasibility and refine project proposals.
- Prepare accurate assessments of material quantities, costs, and resources pre-tender.
- Provide commercial support throughout the project lifecycle, including subcontractor management.
- Cultivate strong client and team relationships, ensuring smooth collaboration.
- Mentor colleagues, share best practices, and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Manage application processes, cash flow forecasts, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001).
- Deliver timely and accurate project applications and payment certificates.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying (or related discipline).
- Professional membership (RICS or equivalent) is advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, M&E, or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and construction regulations.
- Excellent negotiation, contract management, and financial reporting skills.
- Detail-oriented, methodical, and proactive approach.
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing ability.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
