Quantity Surveyor

Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you will work closely with Project and Installation Managers to manage costs, contracts, and risk while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project oversight from inception to completion, ensuring robust cost control.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess feasibility and refine project proposals.
  • Prepare accurate assessments of material quantities, costs, and resources pre-tender.
  • Provide commercial support throughout the project lifecycle, including subcontractor management.
  • Cultivate strong client and team relationships, ensuring smooth collaboration.
  • Mentor colleagues, share best practices, and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Manage application processes, cash flow forecasts, and project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001).
  • Deliver timely and accurate project applications and payment certificates.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying (or related discipline).
  • Professional membership (RICS or equivalent) is advantageous.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, M&E, or related sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards and construction regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, contract management, and financial reporting skills.
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and proactive approach.
  • Confident communicator with strong client-facing ability.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
