Support & Systems Engineer

The Role

Reporting into the Technical Support Manager, you will be interfacing with customers to assist in the use of our hardware and software, thus ensuring customer satisfaction. This is an office-based, hands-on role which requires good problem-solving skills along with good organization skills.

What will I be delivering?

• Daily technical customer support
• Explain to customers how to make the most of what are complex technologies
• Setting up systems in the lab to replicate applications customers are trying to set up
• Writing application notes/white papers
• Working with a team of engineers based in LA, Woburn, or the UK
• Main technical contact point for US-based tier 1 customers, liaising with design engineers
• System setup for evaluation

What do I need to bring?

Demonstrated Knowledge and Experience

• Previous experience working directly with customers
• High level knowledge of embedded engineering
• Pre and post sales customer support

Technical Skills and Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of VPX, VME, CPCI
• Technical knowledge of Linux, Windows & VxWorks
• Embedded System assembly and integration
