Procurement Business Partner

Job Purpose
Reporting into the senior procurement leadership team, you will own key public sector client relationships and provide direct, end-to-end support with their sourcing requirements. You will manage strategic and transactional procurement activity across a wide range of indirect spend categories, with responsibility for portfolios in excess of £50m. Working closely with clients and internal stakeholders, you will ensure compliant, efficient and value-driven procurement outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for key public sector clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders
- Lead strategic sourcing activity across a broad range of indirect spend categories
- Engage, negotiate and manage supplier relationships to ensure best value outcomes
- Work collaboratively with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] colleagues across implementation, procurement operations, finance and legal to ensure successful delivery
- Provide delivery assurance and performance management across client portfolios
Skills, Knowledge & Experience: Essential
- 5–10 years’ experience in procurement business partnering or client-facing procurement roles
- Experience working in either public sector, private sector or both
- Strong indirect spend procurement experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivery
- A proactive, improvement-focused mindset with the ability to see tasks through from start to finish
- Desire to grow and develop as the business continues to scale
