Job Description
Supporting our e‑fulfilment operation for a well-known recognised brand. The site will handle the movement of customer‑specific products, including beers, wines and spirits, within a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
Reporting to the Stock and Systems Manager, this role will facilitate in day-to-day processes within the supervision of the department, ensuring that all stock control team KPI targets are met or exceeded and involved in continuous improvement. Supervising Stock Control department to ensure stock integrity and compliance are being delivered to the highest standard.
You will be fully proficient in the understanding of stock control functions accuracy, processes and be able to deliver excellent customer service through the supervision of the team procedures are met operationally.
To deputise for the Stock & Admin Manager in their absence.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Salary: Up to £33,351 per annum
Key Duties
- To assist the Inventory Stock & Systems Manager in the day to day running of the Stock and Admin department.
- Resolving stock & system and stock issues.
- Scheduling and supervising the activities and the functions of the Stock & Admin staff.
- Ensuring the proper and timely completion of all Stock & Admin activities.
- To keep and maintain records of the Stock and Admin staff performance and personal files.
- To feedback on team and individual performance, including behavioural issues, highlighting good performance.
- To offer suggestions and assist in the organisation of training and development for the stock team Stock and Admin staff, including on-the-job coaching.
- To assist the Inventory Stock & Admin Manager in controlling levels of planned and unplanned absence and take appropriate action to ensure cover and contribute to reductions of unacceptable levels.
- To take part in maintaining high Health & Safety levels.
- To deputise for the Inventory Manager when required.
- To work as a Stock Control’s deputy in emergency situations.
- To process stock reconciliation, resolve stock discrepancies, customer requests and stock amendments in a timely and accurate manner, whilst adhering to operational processes and procedures.
- To supervise and contribute to track & trace requests, product recall and quality assurance.
- Monitoring and scheduling daily, weekly & monthly stock count checks.
- Full reconciliation & adjustment of all stock counts
- To stay in communication with other Managers/Supervisors and Operational Team ensuring smooth flow of operations.
- To be involved in maintaining system’s configuration.
- Visitors & stock audit’s assistance.
- To travel and take part in monthly meetings with customers
- To take part in business projects and developments
- Feedback to the operations team on non-conformance of processes and look at ways to improve operational processes.
