Sub Contract Planner
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Sub Contract Planner in Appleton Thorn, England. Full-time, 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Salary: £32,500 per annum.
Key Duties
- Plan and allocate set lanes to hauliers.
- Rate jobs on GTS and ensure haulier costs are correct.
- Advertise work on TWS system.
- Arrange live loads for hauliers.
- Complete jobs on GTS to allow for [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] invoicing.
- Subbed volumes.
- Implement subcontract strategy based on forecasted volumes.
- Manage haulier issues and communicate these to [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] departments such as CS, central and planning.
- Update hauliers documents to ensure 100% legal compliance.
- Report POD discrepancies and returns that may arise to reduce the company’s liability of losses.
- Take on additional work from 3rd party hauliers to reduce empty running on [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Fleet.
- Support Central Team as required.
