FULL DESCRIPTION

Runner – BBC1 Makeover Series

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking enthusiastic, highly organised Runners to join the production team for a high-energy, returning BBC1 prime-time makeover series. This is a fast-paced role that requires a proactive 'can-do' attitude and the ability to stay calm under the pressure of a large location shoot. While this is an entry-level production role, you will be the backbone of the set, ensuring the crew, contributors, and art department have everything they need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Logistics & Driving: transporting crew, equipment and materials between Brighton and various UK filming locations.
  • Art Dept Liaison: Assisting the Art Department with sourcing materials, moving furniture, cleaning spaces and more.
  • General tasks: stocking catering/refreshments, ensuring the set remains clean, and running general errands.

Requirements

  • Location: you must be Brighton-based
  • Driving License: You must hold a valid driving license and be a confident driver.
  • Due to insurance requirements: All applicants must be 25+ years old. Experience driving transit or equivalent vehicles is preferable.
  • No prior TV experience is required, ideal for someone looking to break into the industry. We are particularly interested in candidates with a keen interest in the Art Department, as this makeover series offers significant exposure to design, styling, and construction.
