Home Care Assistant – Tameside and Manchester

The role involves providing personal care, medication assistance, meal preparation, mobility support, and companionship to individuals in their own homes. No experience required as full training is provided. Pay rates: £13.45-£13.55 per hour plus mileage and performance bonuses. Full-time and part-time options available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily personal care (washing, dressing, meals)
  • Support with mobility and activities of daily living
  • Build trusting relationships with clients and their families
  • Ensure clients’ safety, comfort, and well-being at all times
  • Document and report care provided to clients, medication records and care sheets.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Promote independence and dignity for those in your care
  • To read and follow the individualized care plan
  • To prepare meals, drinks, and snacks, as and when necessary

Requirements

  • No qualifications or previous experience required (full paid training provided)
  • Kind, caring, empathetic and compassionate person
  • Excellent communication skills and a good sense of humour
  • Drivers required

Pay Rates

Monday to Friday - £13.45 (40p Performance Bonus Included) Saturday to Sunday- £13.55 (40p Performance Bonus Included). Mileage pay: 30p per mile. Weekend bonus +40p/hr.
