HGV Class 2 OR Class 1 Driver

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a permanent full-time HGV driver for multi-drop deliveries in Tingley, UK. The role involves manual handling of beer kegs, driving safely, and ensuring compliance with health & safety and drivers' hours regulations.

Key Details

  • Pay Rate: £40,876 plus qualifying bonus £1200
  • Grade: Collective Agreement
  • Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
  • Shift patterns: Monday to Friday starting between 4am-8am (annualised hours)
  • Location: Tingley - WF3 1SP

Typical Day May Involve

  • Handling between 4 to 20 drops per day, keeping your day varied and active
  • Manual handling of goods — including unloading kegs of beer at customer sites
  • Delivering to cellars and navigating stairs — a great way to stay fit while you work!
  • Driving safely and efficiently, always in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
  • Following top-tier health & safety standards, with full compliance to The Highway Code and vehicle regulations
  • Making multi-drop deliveries to pubs and clubs — bringing the good stuff to good people!

This Role Would Suit People Who

  • Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Licence OR Class 1 Licence, Driver CPC Qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Ideally have 8+ months of recent driving experience
  • Are ready to take on a highly physical role and enjoy being on the move
