Dental Hygienist - Saturdays

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] are excited to be opening a search for an experienced and qualified Dental Hygienist to join us at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. This is a lovely mixed practice led by our Partner Dr. Nik Sethi located in the Laindon area of Basildon. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced clinical team in delivering a high quality treatment journey to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out a high-quality dental hygiene treatment under the prescription of a dentist in line with current legislation and regulations
  • The successful candidate must be comfortable with working independently, as we are unable to offer chairside nursing support for this role
  • Following practice policies & procedures at all times in line with GDC guidelines
  • Ensure that the required professional indemnity and insurance are in place and that all necessary CPD is undertaken
  • Promote, establish and maintain productive working relationships with all members of the dental team

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Valid GDC registration – ideally with a couple years’ experience working as a hygienist in the UK
  • Valid Immunisations (Hep B)
  • Clear DBS certificate (we can support with this if required) & full indemnity cover
  • Ability to deliver a fantastic patient journey & ensure our patients have a positive experience in practice
  • Experience in offering advanced treatments such as airflow & GBT are also desirable
