[Employer hidden] is seeking a project architect to join its team in London.

Prime and super prime residential, Chelsea office, three years’ post-Part 3 qualified, hybrid.

We are a Chelsea-based practice with a reputation built on restraint, rigour, and the kind of residential work that rarely appears in magazines because our clients prefer it that way. Our projects span bespoke new-builds, complex basement extensions, and listed buildings across London’s most exacting postcodes. We are looking for a project architect with at least four years post-Part 3 experience who takes technical precision as seriously as good design.

The role

You will carry projects through all RIBA stages with genuine ownership, from detailed design and planning submission through to site resolution and handover.

Reporting directly to a senior associate and the director, you will be close to client decisions from the outset.

Day-to-day you will produce and coordinate construction packages, attend site, manage consultant relationships, and navigate Building Regulations and heritage constraints with confidence.

Responsibilities:

• planning applications and detailed design across all RIBA stages
• production of comprehensive, buildable construction information
• consultant coordination — structural, M&E, interior designers
• site attendance and technical resolution during construction
• building regulations, listed building, and statutory compliance
• contribution to CAD standards and practice-wide technical refinement
• direct client and contractor communication under senior oversight

What we are looking for:

• ARB-registered Part 3 architect, three plus years post-qualification
• strong technical detailing. You enjoy the complexity, not just the concept
• proficiency in AutoCAD (essential); working knowledge of SketchUp or similar
• solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and the planning process
• experience in high-end or heritage residential preferred, not required
• right to work in the UK
