[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a design-led practice working across architecture, urbanism, and interior design. With studios in London, Berlin, and Madrid, our work spans a wide range of scales and typologies, from complex masterplans to innovative commercial and residential buildings.
What we’re looking for
Individuals who combine strong design sensibility with technical understanding, and who are interested in contributing to meaningful, well-crafted projects. Precise, considered and comfortable taking responsibility for their work, along with excellent communication skills and strong collaborators.
Requirements
- a minimum of seven years’ experience leading interior projects
- proven experience leading a small (in-house) Interior design team and can collaborate effectively with the architecture team
- exceptional design skills and experience creating high-quality concept designs and mood boards
- the ability to navigate client expectations as well as the studios design intent
- experience across all RIBA stages
- experience on (ultra) luxury residential projects and strong working knowledge of local regulations in UAE
- ability to think through design problems and outstanding attention to detail
- experience producing and overseeing full technical packages including technical drawings and detailed specifications
- experience working in the role of a ‘design guardian’, with experience reviewing mock-ups and material samples
- advanced software skills, including both 2D and 3D software capabilities: Rhino, Enscape or alternative 3D packages such as Corona, 3ds Max as well as knowledge of REVIT and Adobe Creative Suite
- knowledge of local suppliers, sourcing materials/bespoke furniture in the Middle East is advantageous
- excellent presentation skills
- delivering to demanding deadlines and not fazed by fast-paced projects
- fluency in written and spoken English
- experience coordinating with a full consultant team
- experience mentoring junior team members
- excellent team player with collaborative work ethic. Proactive and conscientious.
