Job Title: Maintenance Joiner
Reports to: Estates Manager

About the Role
As a Maintenance Joiner, you will be a key player in maintaining and enhancing the facilities at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], a 170-acre site that provides crucial support for people with disabilities. You will bring your expertise to the role, undertaking a variety of repairs, installations, and new builds across the site, contributing directly to the well-being of the people we support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out repairs and installations to ensure the site remains in top condition.
- Instructing and mentoring others in joinery and maintenance techniques.
- Be able to build kitchen units etc.
- Manufacturing, assembling, and installing new work, including repairs and upkeep of plant and equipment.
- Continuously learning new skills and techniques to enhance your practice.
- Working with a range of tools and equipment to deliver high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will have:
- A recognised joinery qualification (such as a CITB apprenticeship or City & Guilds certificate).
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
- A positive, caring approach to working with people with disabilities.
- A strong sense of reliability, flexibility, and teamwork.
- A commitment to maintaining a high standard of work and professionalism in all tasks.
- The ability to work in a non-smoking environment.
