About this Role

Are you an experienced driver, vehicle valet, yard operative or someone who takes pride in keeping vehicles looking and performing at their best? This Van Driver Valet role within our [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Truck and Trailer branch plays a vital part in making sure our fleet is always safe, presentable, and ready for hire.

You will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, preparing and moving vehicles while supporting the wider branch with yard organisation and day to day operational tasks.

  • Inspecting vehicles to ensure they meet [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] standards and are fit for hire.
  • Cleaning vehicles inside and out to a consistently high standard.
  • Carrying out basic mechanical tasks such as mirror glass replacement and general checks.
  • Moving vehicles, collecting or delivering drivers, documents and parts as required.
  • Completing electronic checks and reports for vehicle arrivals and disposals.

About You

This role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, takes ownership of their responsibilities and feels comfortable working independently while being part of a wider team. Full training is provided, so enthusiasm and care matter just as much as experience.

  • Full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
  • Experience in vehicle cleaning, valeting or yard work is beneficial but not essential.
  • A careful and methodical approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using basic electronic systems for inspections and reporting.
  • A professional and courteous manner when dealing with colleagues and customers.
