Van Delivery Driver

Job Description

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] are looking for an experienced Van Delivery driver to deliver car parts to garages throughout Park Royal and the surrounding postcodes. This van delivery driver role is offered on an ongoing basis working Monday to Friday with no weekends. Pay Rate £13.00 per hour with overtime paid at £19.50. Minimum hours paid is 8 per day. As a van delivery driver your day will be split into 2 halves with up to 18 drops in the morning before reloading and making further deliveries in the afternoon. The ideal applicant will have an excellent knowledge of NW postcodes as this is where your route will be focused.

Van Delivery Driver Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery van to deliver car parts to garages throughout Park Royal and the surrounding postcodes
• Load and unload the vehicle checking all of the parts are onboard before departing the warehouse
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries, notifying the customers and management of any delays
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and signatures

Qualifications

• Valid UK driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a delivery driver with excellent knowledge of Park Royal and the surrounding postcodes
• Ability to drive and operate a delivery van in a safe and responsible manner
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
