FULL DESCRIPTION

Assistant Accommodation Manager

Pay: Up to £14.50 per hour (hourly) | Type: Temporary, Seasonal

Duties

  • Assist the Accommodation Manager in overseeing daily operations of guest accommodation facilities
  • Ensuring our lodges, glamping units and safari tents are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Coordinate with accommodation team to schedule cleaning routines and address any maintenance issues promptly
  • Courtesy door knocks on guest check-in days, always providing excellent customer service
  • Support the Accommodation Manager in managing inventory items, cleaning supplies, and linen, ensuring stock levels are maintained
  • Support in training new team and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Work with the Guest Experience Team to resolve any issues efficiently to enhance guest experience
  • Conduct regular inspections of accommodation units to uphold quality standards
  • Covering the Accommodation Manager role, for holidays and absence

Requirements

  • Previous experience in managing a team is highly desirable
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and guest satisfaction
  • A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding service

The Details

  • Pay: Up to £14.50 per hour
  • Hours: Seasonal role, including weekends, school holidays, and Bank Holidays. Shifts will be rostered in advance.
