Inclusion Assistant
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an Inclusion Assistant to support students with additional needs at its Stevenage and Hitchin campuses. The role involves providing tailored support based on EHCPs, assisting with personal care, and helping learners build confidence and independence. This is a permanent, term-time position.

- Salary: Up to £26,111 FTE (actual £19,327.65) + Pension

What you’ll do
- Provide tailored support based on EHCPs, support plans and individual targets
- Assist teaching staff and use assistive technology to enhance learning
- Support students with communication, study skills, and pastoral needs
- Deliver 1:1 and small group support to help learners overcome barriers
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to EHCP reviews
- Assist with personal care, mobility, medication and individual arrangements
- Support students with work experience placements and employer engagement
- Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality, EDI, and health & safety standards

Who we’re looking for
Someone patient, adaptable, and committed to helping young people with diverse needs achieve their goals. Experience in SEND or education is helpful but not essential — what matters most is your passion for inclusion.
