Job Description
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is an independent co-educational day school catering to students aged 12-18 with SEMH difficulties. The Headteacher seeks an aspiring Maths teacher to deliver engaging lessons to small classes (max 5 students) supported by a Teaching Assistant. Reporting to the Headteacher, the role involves ensuring the department achieves its aims. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, flexible, and determined.
Requirements
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/PGCE)
- Experience teaching in Secondary schools
- Genuine desire to become part of a committed team of subject specialists
- Passion for teaching with ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons

- Experience in non-mainstream settings with challenging learners
- Ability to empathise and support development of learning
- Robust understanding of safeguarding procedures
- Ability to work as part of a small team
- Excellent delivery and communication skills
