Position Overview
This position requires a leader with a broad cross-functional background and experience in Global Business Services (CBS) and Continuous Improvement and Project Management. Supporting Head of PMO for driving overarching strategic direction, specifically in coaching and leadership on the CBS continuous improvement (CI) and Project Management efforts throughout all of the CBS's operational functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Align projects with overall CBS strategy – establishing criteria for evaluation, prioritization and selection of projects.
- Manage interdependencies and coordination across projects.
- Runs an extensive program of change within a business and ensures alignment with company objectives.
- Demonstrates ability to manage several teams with several projects running simultaneously.
- Interview users and Business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Implements operational plans (short term <1 year).
- Works to achieve operational targets with a significant impact on departmental results.
- May be required to influence parties within and outside of the job function.
- Problems and issues faced are difficult; solved through drawing from prior experience.
- Scope may also focus on strategic alignment, making decisions based on what's best for [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal].
- Responsible for delegating work and review of others' work product.
- Ability to showcase data to align stakeholders.
- Explains policies, practices and procedures to internal and external parties.
- Collaborate with other parts of CBS to establish synergies.
- Ensure project portfolio remains in tune with changing business objectives.
- Highlight and track key risks.
- Identify lessons learnt and work with Head of PMO to refine PMO processes.
- Act as coach/mentor.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Act as communication channel between business and Project Managers.
- Shares best practices throughout the Company.
- Foster collaborative relationships with project leaders and senior stakeholders.
- Support CI Team and Head of PMO to maintain foundation of CI and Project Management tools.
- Conduct workshops and training programs.
- Must demonstrate ability to simplify strategy into simple actions.
- Experience delivering business results and building competency in lean methods.
- Work with broad range of management levels.
- Responsible for making moderate improvements to processes, systems or products.
Skills & Experience
- Good understanding of the organization’s vision, mission and strategy.
- Ability to distil situations and come up with options.
- Understanding of project and programme management.
- Leadership skills including communication, presentation, dealing with ambiguity, drive for results.
- Broad understanding of the business, including markets, customer base, partners, regulations.
- Proven problem-solving and negotiation capabilities.
- Demonstrate influence skills.
- Must demonstrate proven ability to simplify strategy into simple actions.
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion through others.

Qualifications/Education
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in a technical engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience implementing multiple projects.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of relevant tools and methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience of Complex Project Management with knowledge in CBS operations.
- PMP/PRINCE II or equivalent certification a plus.
- Ability to organize, plan, execute and report independently.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Requires well-developed knowledge of job area and early-management leadership knowledge.
- Statistical knowledge is a plus.
- Experience in managing improvement initiatives (e.g. Six Sigma, LEAN).
- Experience in Scrum methodology is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Technology: MS Office, SAP is an advantage.
- Must have strong communication and presentation skills.
- Must have a team-player mindset.

Travel Requirements
Position may involve travel up to 20% of the time within Europe and International.

Working Conditions
