About the Role
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking to recruit an experienced Dermatology Specialist Nurse to join our team and support the continued growth of our community dermatology services. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and manage a wide range of dermatological conditions, including acne, psoriasis, and eczema, that would otherwise be referred to secondary care.
The role involves clinical triage of referrals, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing monitoring of patients within community clinic settings. You will also support the day-to-day operations of outpatient services across multiple sites, ensuring a safe, efficient, and patient-centred environment.
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care, supporting patient education, and contributing to the smooth running of the service.
Our community dermatology service provides patients with rapid access to specialist opinion and high-quality care within convenient community clinic settings.

- Dermatology Specialist Nurses
- Advanced Nurse Practitioners with dermatology experience
- Nurses with a recognised qualification in Dermatology
Essential requirements:
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
- Recognised qualification or diploma in Dermatology (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrable experience working in dermatology services
- Ability to independently manage a clinical caseload
- Experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of dermatological conditions
- Competence in patient education and chronic disease management
- Personal indemnity fully covering all patient care delivered under this agreement
- Evidence and date of most recent appraisal
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Strong understanding of patient-centred care and clinical governance
