Freelance Community Facilitator: Try The Train
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Freelance Community Facilitator for the Try The Train programme. This role involves delivering workshops and supported train journeys to build confidence in rail travel for community groups.
- Salary: £200 per day (£2,000 total for full delivery)
- Location: Peak District & Derbyshire
- Deadline: 23 March 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver inclusive workshops that build rail confidence and independence
- Support participants safely during train journeys
- Adapt delivery to meet diverse access needs
- Gather basic participant feedback
- Uphold safeguarding, equality and professional standards
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working with community and/or disability groups
- Experience supporting people facing barriers to travel, confidence or access
- Experience delivering structured, confidence-building workshops
- Ability to work safely and professionally in public settings
