MOT Tester

Purpose of the Role

The role will be based in our Mechanical Services Division in Ringmer on a salary of up to £39,000. You will have a vehicle mechanics background and be qualified to test Class 4 vehicles; training will be provided for class 1, 2, 5 and 7 vehicles thereafter.

Main Responsibilities

• Strictly adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures within a vehicle mechanics environment, including use of appropriate protective clothing and PPE.
• Ensure that all MOT testing is carried out within our responsibility and undertake MOTs with full regard for the safety of visitors, other members of staff and yourself.
• Process Warranty Claims and when required, update job cards on the company Fleet Plan.

Ideal Candidate

• Qualified to test Class 4 vehicles.
• Hold a MOT Tester Certificate.
• Good knowledge of Vehicle Mechanics.
• Ability to communicate well with customers, colleagues and the management team.
• Awareness of health and safety.

Package Description

• A salary of £37,000 to £39,000 per annum.
