Host Family - Girl's Academy

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is an English football club initially founded by City in the Community in 1988. Relaunched by a formal partnership with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], MCWFC entered the FA Women's Super League and professionalised in 2014. The team plays at Joie Stadium on the wider Etihad Campus, which also encompasses the City Football Academy.

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] are seeking warm and welcoming host families to provide a safe and supportive environment for our girls academy players (aged between 16 - 18 years old).

Your Impact

  • Provide a homely, safe and welcoming environment to our young players.
  • We welcome applications from families who can provide a room for a single player or, ideally, two players.
  • Provide high quality accommodation, including a spacious single or double bedroom, sufficient storage, a desk, WiFi, suitable access to a bathroom and laundry facilities.
  • Provide high-quality, nutritious meals in line with guidance from the Academy.
  • Be a non-smoking household.
  • Safeguard the physical and emotional welfare of players.
  • Help the young player develop essential life skills.
  • Accommodation has access to public and local amenities with good transport links to City Football Academy (M11 4TQ).
  • Include our young people in family life.
  • The club will provide further guidance and training.
  • Undergo a comprehensive application and screening process including DBS checks.
  • Communicate with the Performance Lifestyle and Safeguarding Teams at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal].
  • Adhere to any further and ongoing requirements.

Compensation

Host families will be paid monthly, with host fees calculated on a per night basis when they have a player placed with them (£42 per night).
