About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Cootes Vets on a part-time basis. Cootes Vets is a small, well-established first-opinion practice with two highly experienced, long-standing vets and a close-knit, family-feel team. Set in a beautifully refurbished semi-rural clinic with on-site parking and easy access to Brighton and the South Downs, we’re proud of our strong community ties and loyal client base, with high levels of preventive healthcare and insured patients.

How You’ll Make a Difference

  • Nurse clinics
  • Theatre work and ops, including clean up
  • Laboratory duties
  • Inpatient care
  • Discharging patients
  • Client care and admin duties

This is a part-time role working 16 hours per week across 2 days – preferably Monday and Tuesday, 10:30 am – 7 pm.

You Might Be a Great Fit If...

  • Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
  • Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
