About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] on a full-time basis. [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a long-established Veterinary Hospital in the lovely rural market town of Thame. Services include dental x-ray, in-house laboratory, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital x-ray, separate dog and cat and isolation wards.
How You’ll Make a Difference
- Assisting our Veterinary Surgeons in theatre and consultations
- Responsibility for inpatient care
- Assisting with patient admits and discharges
- Carrying out nurse consultations
Our full-time nurses work 40 hours per week with a 1:5 night duty (accommodation on site) and a 1:6 weekend rota.
You Might Be a Great Fit If...
- Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively
- A proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement
