Hotel Receptionist

Full time, 40 hour contract, early, mid & late shifts, weekend availability required
The Role
- Maintain and deliver the 5* journey to all guests
- Guest relations including concierge, special requests, complaint & problem handling
- Meeting and greeting
- Checking in and checking out guests, taking guests to their rooms
- Accounts, ensuring all accounts balance
- Administrative duties (preparation of arrivals and departures list, registration cards etc)
- Answering telephone and email enquiries
- Taking Bedroom and Restaurant reservations
- Keeping public areas tidy and clean
- Dealing with general enquiries from guests
- Assisting guests with luggage
- Preparing function menus, place cards and table plans
- Preparing booking sheets
Skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and guest needs
- Accuracy in handling reservations, check-ins, and other administrative tasks
- Excel at building rapport with guests and members
- Positive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organised
- Weekend availability
- Must have own transport
