Senior Solicitor - Associate (3 - 5 PQE) | Disputes & Regulatory
Are you ready to take the next step in your disputes career and work on cases that truly make an impact? We’re looking for a Senior Solicitor - Associate (3 - 5 PQE) to join our top-ranked Disputes & Regulatory Division in Edinburgh or Glasgow, to take on a unique role combining personal injury defence, with maritime and transport law and insurance coverage disputes. The role will give you the opportunity to work on high-value, complex, cross-border disputes, including the chance to specialise in claims within the maritime industry. The personal injury defence element of the role does not involve high-volume, repetitive work but supporting corporate Scotland with its claims defence. It will also provide an excellent opportunity to support the growth of the Disputes & Regulatory practice generally, with fantastic scope for career development.
Requirements
- Strong experience in personal injury defence
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong business development acumen
- Ability to work autonomously and supervise junior team members
- Experience with Court of Session and Sheriff Court hearings
