Business Systems Integration Analyst

About The Role
You’ll play a key role in connecting systems across ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other enterprise platforms using Workato (iPaaS) and modern API-driven approaches. From designing workflows to troubleshooting live integrations, you’ll ensure our systems communicate seamlessly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Integration design & development: Design, build, test, and deploy integrations using Workato (recipes, workflows, triggers, connectors)
- Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and authentication protocols
- Ensure integrations are secure, scalable, and high-performing
- Deliver integrations across key platforms including ERP, CRM, HRIS, and finance systems
- Analyse data models, schemas, and API documentation to support accurate data mapping and transformation
- Gather and translate business requirements into technical integration specifications
- Produce design documentation, mapping documents, and workflow diagrams
- Recommend best practice integration patterns
- Monitor integration performance and resolve issues proactively
- Provide 2nd/3rd line support for integration incidents
- Continuously optimise integrations for performance and reliability
- Apply documentation, version control, and change management standards
- Contribute to integration governance and best practices
- Stay up to date with automation trends, Workato capabilities, and API standards
About You
- Experience building integrations using Workato or similar iPaaS platforms
- Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs (build, consume, troubleshoot)
- Proficiency with JSON, webhooks, and API authentication methods
- Experience integrating enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, finance)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, schemas, and data models
- Experience with data mapping, transformation, and workflow logic
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Desirable
- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts
- Exposure to SOAP APIs and XML
- Experience with Workato SDK or custom connectors
- Familiarity with Agile, SDLC, or DevOps practices
- Understanding of integration security best practices
