Head Gymnastics Coach & Programme Director (Recreational)

Hours: Part Time or Full Time, flexible hours, including some evenings & weekends (shifts)

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 (FTE & DOE)

Job Description

  • Plan, deliver, and review engaging gymnastics and child development sessions
  • Lead by example, coaching children, supporting parents, and mentoring your coaching team
  • Develop and manage lesson plans using the RISE coaching portal
  • Ensure sessions are fun, safe, and tailored to each age group
  • Manage, train, and inspire your team of senior, assistant, and junior coaches
  • Oversee health, safety, and safeguarding across all programmes
  • Communicate clearly with parents and staff, keeping progress records up to date

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in children’s gymnastics coaching and programme design
  • Relevant qualification in Sports Science, Coaching, or Physical Education (or equivalent)
  • BG Gymnastics coaching award (minimum Level 2 or equivalent)
  • Valid First Aid and Safeguarding training
  • Enhanced DBS check required
