Job Introduction
The Strategic Contracts Team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] focuses on managing corporate contracts, analysing data, ensuring compliance, and procuring mainly within the Professional Category for the entire Council. We are looking for a Contracts Officer to join our dedicated team in the Finance Department. This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse district.
Main Responsibilities
- To assist the Strategic Contract Manager to manage contractual relationships and of providers through mobilisation, transition, delivery and exit of contracts
- To provide support and assistance to ensure that all contracts include appropriate arrangements, measures and mechanisms to enable delivery of the benefits and value of contracts throughout the contract life
- Ensure the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] can evidence effective delivery, efficient arrangements, wide market intelligence and active supplier assessment
