Job Introduction
Built Environment within the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s Assets and Facilities Management Service looks after the development of new and the maintenance of existing [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s property assets. The [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s property portfolio is varied including corporate offices and depots, leisure centres, libraries, residential homes, other community facilities and schools. Our projects range from the construction of new schools to day-to-day reactive property maintenance along with developing programmes of activity to reduce the environmental impact of the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s estate.
We are looking for an Apprentice Project Manager to join our dedicated team in the Corporate Resources Department. This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city.
Main Responsibilities
- To effectively contribute to the delivery of activities and projects allocated to the project management team,
- Take a pivotal role in ensuring [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] construction projects are run effectively and delivered on time and within budget with a keen focus of ensuring value for money at every project stage,
- Having an eye to the future to stay informed of the challenges and changes impacting the building construction sector and then sharing that knowledge with colleagues and clients so that the service always remains fit for purpose, and
- Working closely with colleagues across Built Environment to deliver its service plan objectives.
