Overview

We have an opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist to join their team in the Cardiology department. This is a bank role working on an "as and when required" basis.
Duties
- Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac investigations including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, and blood pressure monitoring.
- Carry out exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt table testing, and other functional assessments.
- Assist in cardiac catheterisation procedures including angiograms, angioplasties, and right heart studies.
- Conduct pacemaker, ICD, and CRT device checks and follow-ups.
- Accurately document all tests and results in patient records.
- Calibrate, maintain, and ensure safe use of cardiology equipment.
Requirements
- Current knowledge of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice.
- Experience of customer care in challenging situations.
- Degree in Clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics.
- Device qualification.
- Must be EP trained.
