Overview

We have an opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist to join their team in the Cardiology department. This is a bank role working on an "as and when required" basis.

Duties

  • Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac investigations including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, and blood pressure monitoring.
  • Carry out exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt table testing, and other functional assessments.
  • Assist in cardiac catheterisation procedures including angiograms, angioplasties, and right heart studies.
  • Conduct pacemaker, ICD, and CRT device checks and follow-ups.
  • Accurately document all tests and results in patient records.
  • Calibrate, maintain, and ensure safe use of cardiology equipment.

Requirements

  • Current knowledge of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice.
  • Experience of customer care in challenging situations.
  • Degree in Clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics.
  • Device qualification.
  • Must be EP trained.
