Overview

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group is Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare. The Meriden Hospital in Coventry is part of the group. We have an opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist to join the Cardiology department.

Duties

  • Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac investigations: resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, blood pressure monitoring.
  • Carry out exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt table testing, and other functional assessments.
  • Assist in cardiac catheterisation procedures including angiograms, angioplasties, and right heart studies.
  • Monitor intra-cardiac pressures and waveforms during procedures.
  • Conduct pacemaker, ICD, and CRT device checks and follow-ups.
  • Analyse device data and provide expert interpretation.

Requirements

  • Current knowledge of clinical specialties and developments.
  • Experience in customer care and challenging situations.
  • Degree in Clinical Physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics.
  • Device or Echocardiography accreditation (BHRS/BHRE/BSE).
