Overview
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group is Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare. The Meriden Hospital in Coventry is part of the group. We have an opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist to join the Cardiology department.
Duties
- Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac investigations: resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, blood pressure monitoring.
- Carry out exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt table testing, and other functional assessments.
- Assist in cardiac catheterisation procedures including angiograms, angioplasties, and right heart studies.
- Monitor intra-cardiac pressures and waveforms during procedures.
- Conduct pacemaker, ICD, and CRT device checks and follow-ups.
- Analyse device data and provide expert interpretation.
Requirements
- Current knowledge of clinical specialties and developments.
- Experience in customer care and challenging situations.
- Degree in Clinical Physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics.
- Device or Echocardiography accreditation (BHRS/BHRE/BSE).
