Supply Chain Specialist (Supply Chain Management)
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to provide tactical supply chain support for UK Fixed Wing activities. This is an onsite role based in Birmingham, UK.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate the receipt, storage and issuing of material through the on-site warehouse.
- Ensure complete compliance to Inwards Processing (IPR) requirements including physical segregation of stock, recording, import clearance, and tracking usage data.
- Maintain awareness of upcoming shipments and provide out of hours service as required.
- Provide shift cover as the team grows.
Other Warehousing Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy of items.
- Store materials in designated locations.
- Pick, pack, and ship orders to customers.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Basic Qualifications
- Verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Active UK Security Check.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Levels/degree or equivalent Supply Chain/Quality Management qualifications.
- Forklift driver's license.
