Job Description

If you are an experienced Spanish Teacher who can foster a love of Spanish in your students, then this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the Modern Languages department at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. Spanish is very popular at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and there is a lot of enthusiasm for it. As Head of Spanish, you will ensure this continues, and that students understand the importance of Spanish in the global community. You will be responsible for teaching Spanish to students of all age ranges from 11 – 18 and will equip students with sound linguistic skills through challenging and differentiated lessons. Leading by example, you will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department and inspire and motivate a team of subject specialists through your own passion for the subject. You will also be working closely with the Head of MFL to embed the MFL department vision and development plan and will contribute effectively to the MFL calendar and running of trips, such as organising and leading regular trips to Spain. The ability to teach Spanish across the full range of KS3, KS4 and KS5 is essential.
