Maintenance Technician

We're hiring a Maintenance Technician for Birmingham. Salary: £24,780 - £25,000 per year. Permanent, Full-time.
What You’ll Be Doing

- Act as first-line support, attending site to assess reactive maintenance issues reported
- Works in line with service level agreements set by Tenancy Services
- Carry out planned maintenance works (such as re-decoration of properties to-let)
- Ability to manage and organise own workload effectively
- Responsible for the use of accounts with suppliers to source parts and materials as and when needed
- Carry out associated admin, such as claiming expenses or liaising with Accounts teams with purchase receipts
- Purchase materials and complete works required in line with client goals and budget
- Builds effective working relationships with branch staff and the Asset Manager responsible for the portfolio
- Attend site as and when convenient for the client and/or tenants, developing trusted relationships
What You Need to Succeed
- Fluent level of English; able to communicate effectively with customers, team members and other contractors professionally, as appropriate
- Experience of working in a similar role is essential (lone working experience is advantageous)
