The Role

Due to a range of new client wins a vacancy has arisen for an experienced solicitor at either senior associate or legal director level, to join the Insurance team in our Litigation, Advisory & Regulatory department. The role will involve defending personal injury and property damage claims for a range of private and public sector clients including insurers, local authorities, and other public sector bodies. With your skill and expertise, it is envisaged that you would:

  • Handle a caseload of high value multi track injury and property damage claims
  • Manage your own matters with limited support and delegate to juniors
  • Work with and support a number of our partner leads and colleagues across all 4 of our offices
  • Provide management and supervisory support to junior colleagues

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong experience of handling high value personal injury claims, property damage claims and coverage disputes for insurers
  • Experience of disease claims would be useful but is not essential
  • Previous experience of managing/supervising junior colleagues
  • Good client management skills with a practical and commercial approach
  • A keenness to work collaboratively and actively contribute towards business development activities
