The Role
As our construction team continues to grow, we are looking for a 1-5 PQE Solicitor or Associate to work from our Leeds office, focusing on contentious construction dispute resolution and advisory work. You will advise on a wide range of matters including final account/loss and expense claims, defect issues, and PFI/projects disputes. Work includes high-value instructions for local authorities, NHS Trusts, housing associations, developers, funders, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle construction dispute matters including adjudications, litigation, and arbitration.
- Advise on PFI/PPP dispute resolution procedures.
- Manage high-value claims and complex instructions.
- Liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the team's growth and development.
What We Are Looking For
- 1-5 PQE Solicitor or Associate with experience in construction disputes.
- Excellent drafting and legal analysis skills.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and work effectively with clients.
- Ambitious and keen to work in a high-quality team.
- Flexible approach; part-time considered.
