Construction Solicitor (1-3 PQE)
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a leading commercial law firm with expertise in housing, local government, health and social care, construction, energy, and more. This role is in the nationally recognised construction team led by Andrew Tobin and Jonathan Turner. The team works on non-contentious construction projects for clients across the UK, including education, housing, health, local authority regeneration, and central government programmes.
The Role
As a Solicitor in the team, you will work mainly on non-contentious construction work, though candidates with contentious experience looking to transition are welcome. You will handle high-value, complex instructions for government departments, local councils, NHS Trusts, and housing associations. Recent projects include advising on the new Museum of London, a global healthcare headquarters, care homes, Peabody Trust's Thamesmead development, Leeds General Infirmary, and University of Oxford projects.
What We Are Looking For
- 1-3 years' PQE
- Private practice or in-house experience, ideally with some cross-disciplinary coordination
- Good networker or interest in networking and business development
- Strong drafting and legal analysis skills
- Ability to work through complex issues pragmatically and commercially
- Keen interest in becoming a specialist in the Construction sector
