IFA Administrator

Responsibilities
- Helping advisers to prepare for client reviews by ensuring all client and plan information is up to date on IO
- Requesting plan information from providers and chasing regularly
- Updating contributions and withdrawals, linking transfers within plans
- Adding missing policy information to IO
- Validating funds held within IO, ensuring unit balances and price feeds are correct
- Checking income expectations and updating as required
- Collating costs and charges information
- Creating client valuation reports using standard templates
- Producing OneNote packs including Client Charter, FE Analytics research, KID, data capture form, and valuation report
- Preparing cases for submission to AST team by completing checklists and chasing providers
- Checking and validating client income expectations
- Interrogating data to ensure system accuracy
- Interacting with advisers and client support to deliver excellent customer service
- Producing client letters
- Answering phone calls via Main Hunt Group
- Delivering agreed service levels in a timely manner
- Dealing with day-to-day telephone and email enquiries
- Creating and maintaining effective client files
- New business processing and application submission
- Liaising with product providers
- Keeping up to date with new products, technical or legislative changes
- Complying with compliance policies
- Engaging with training and development
- Performing ad hoc tasks
Essential Skills, Qualities and Experience
- A minimum 12 month’s IFA administration experience, supporting an advisor
- Previous regulatory or financial industry experience is desirable
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Methodical and organised
- Computer literate
- Accurate with good attention to detail
- Problem solving
- Knowledge of the advice process
- True collaborator, takes initiative, curious
- A desire to learn and develop
Essential Qualifications
- Good standard of education
- Maths and English GCSE, grade 5 or above, or equivalent
