Role Overview
The Head of Corporate Administration is accountable for the national delivery of corporate and workplace administration services within the Wealth business. This role exists to ensure corporate clients, employers, schemes, and members receive consistent, high-quality, and compliant administration services, delivered at scale and with strong operational control.
Responsibilities
- Strategic & Operational Leadership: Set and own the national operating model for Corporate Administration, ensuring consistent delivery across all regions and service lines.
- Service Delivery: Oversee end-to-end administration services supporting corporate propositions including auto-enrolment, group risk, healthcare benefits, corporate pension governance, and employee engagement.
- People & Culture: Lead and develop Corporate Administration managers and team leaders, build technical capability, and foster a joined-up culture.
- Stakeholder Management: Work in close partnership with corporate consultants, insurers, providers, and third-party administrators.
- Governance, Compliance & Risk: Ensure FCA compliance, embed TCF principles, and own operational risk management.
- Performance & Continuous Improvement: Own service MI and drive continuous improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential: Strong general education with demonstrable experience leading regulated corporate or workplace administration services; evidence of senior operational leadership in a complex, multi-site environment. Desirable: Relevant CII or industry qualifications in Group Risk, Healthcare Benefits, Pensions/Auto-enrolment, or leadership certifications.
Critical Skills & Knowledge
- Corporate and workplace propositions including auto-enrolment, group risk, healthcare, pension governance, employee engagement.
- FCA regulatory expectations relevant to corporate services.
- National BAU service delivery models in regulated environments.
- Proven leadership of specialist corporate administration functions.
- Excellent stakeholder management with consultants, insurers, and senior leaders.
- Strong service control, quality, and risk management capability.
Other Information
Full-time, permanent role. Hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 home). Travel across regions required.
