The Role

This role reports to [Employer hidden]’s Chief Marketing Officer and is responsible for identifying and managing [Employer hidden]’s partnerships to drive revenue, brand awareness, and engagement campaigns. The role is responsible for negotiating contracts, activating sponsorship deliverables and ensuring [Employer hidden]’s commercial objectives are met.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Sales: Develop, pitch, and execute sponsorship strategies to attract new partners and retain existing ones, ensuring mutual value.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with partners, acting as the primary liaison for needs, enquiries, and contract fulfilment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including Financial advisers, compliance and finance to ensure sports sponsorship and partnerships initiatives are understood, supported, and successfully delivered.
  • Marketing & Content: Create sponsorship collateral, proposals, and marketing assets tailored to different audiences as part of the brand activation.
  • Campaign Management: Execute targeted marketing campaigns (digital, email, social) to support sponsorship goals and boost visibility.
  • Operational Execution: Oversee logistics for sponsored events, including asset activation, on-site presence, and post-event reporting.
  • Budgeting & ROI: Manage sponsorship budgets and analyse performance metrics to measure ROI.
  • Other: Supporting the Marketing and broader [Employer hidden] team with ad hoc projects.
  • Adhere to all FCA regulations including consumer duty.

Requirements & Skills

  • Experience: Proven experience in marketing, sponsorship sales, or partnership management. Ideally 5 years plus experience in a similar role within Financial Services, plus experience in managing partner relationships and overseeing budgets.
  • Communication: Exceptional negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Project Management: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse ROI and use CRM tools (HubSpot).
  • Creativity: Ability to develop compelling, tailored content relevant to Partner audiences.
  • Collaboration: This role is highly collaborative, working with internal sales, marketing, and design teams, as well as external partners.
  • Stakeholder management: Strong influencing capabilities and effective at managing senior stakeholders, with a proven track record of navigating complex organisational environments.
