DevOps Engineer (Observability)
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is hiring a DevOps Engineer to work on observability tooling across cloud platforms. This is a full-time, remote position based in Mexico.

What You’ll Do
- Manage, configure, and support observability tooling for [Employer hidden]’s product offerings across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Define, configure, and deploy monitoring to measure performance, scalability, reliability, and resiliency.
- Build concise, impactful dashboards displaying infrastructure-level and application-level telemetry.
- Monitor all layers of [Employer hidden]’s application stack.
- Reduce mean-time-to-discover and mean-time-to-recover through improvements to observability tooling.
Who You’ll Work With
You’ll work closely with product engineering, cloud operations, security, and compliance teams. You’ll report to a Sr. Manager, Site Reliability Engineering.
What Makes You A Qualified Candidate
- Experience with at least one major cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud).
- 2+ years of administrative-level experience with Grafana or equivalent.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform preferred).
- Strong scripting skills with Python.
- Experience with configuration management (Ansible or Puppet).
- Experience with build/deployment automation (Jenkins or Bamboo).
- Experience with Git and Jira.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience administering Linux-based systems.

- 3 to 4 years of DevOps or SRE experience.

- In-depth understanding of monitoring principles.
- Understanding of enterprise software deployment and security/compliance.
- Proficiency in multi-layered troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
