Contracts Manager
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead commercial management of international energy projects. This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position based in London, UK. Compensation: £55,000 - £75,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Contract Management & Execution: Act as lead on all commercial contract matters from signature to close-out; rigorously review claims and variations; manage payment applications; attend progress meetings; formalize lessons learned.
- Sourcing & Tender Support: Help define procurement strategies (EPC full wrap vs. split-scope); execute RFI/RFQ activities; negotiate robust contracts (FIDIC/NEC).
- Strategic Scaling & Continuous Improvement: Identify process weaknesses; support geographical expansion in UK, Spain, Italy, Germany; assist in onboarding new talent.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Minimum 5-10 years in contract management for complex construction projects (preferably energy sector). Practical experience with EPC/split contracts using FIDIC, NEC, JCT. Strong commercial acumen. Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical) required.
