[Employer hidden] has an exciting new opportunity for a Project Design Manager to work as part of the Design team. The role is hybrid based in Tamworth, Head Office. Permanent position with competitive remuneration package.

Location: Tamworth (Hybrid) | Type: Permanent Full-time | Reports to: Design Director

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Create and manage design programme and outputs based on overall project programmes.
  • Manage design change, scope drift, variations, and payment against programmed deliverables.
  • Manage creation of models, calculations, drawings, and schedules in accordance with internal systems.
  • Manage BIM deliverables and ensure compliance with Client BIM Execution plans.
  • Control project CDM and H&S requirements, particularly temporary works.
  • Provide support to Pre-Construction team for Stage 3 deliverables.
  • Develop strong relationships with Client, Project and Design teams.
  • Hold weekly design meetings and key stage Design Review meetings.
  • Support commercial function with change and scope drift.
  • Issue weekly design reports and trackers.
  • Ensure all design outputs meet [Employer hidden] quality standards.
  • Hold yourself accountable for 'right first time' information.
