Trainee Site Manager

We have an exciting new opportunity at [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Ltd for a Trainee Site Manager to join our Construction Teams. This role will be a site-based role operating from numerous sites, therefore the willingness to travel and work away is a requirement of this role. The Trainee Site Manager will be responsible for set up and running of [Employer hidden]’s construction phase as per [Employer hidden] plan. To manage and record all onsite activities to [Employer hidden]’s standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting with the efficient running of site works and labour.
  • A full understanding of site safety and environmental requirements and responsibility.
  • Promoting the Company in a professional manner.
  • Ensuring a daily briefing is delivered to site operatives for the work in hand.
  • Full understanding and responsibility for scope of works from Contracts Manager
  • Understanding and monitoring of: Construction issue drawings/details register, Method Statement / amendments, Surveys / Setting out, On site safe working methods
  • Assisting with the management of all [Employer hidden] and subcontract labour, including: Safety, Quality, Discipline, Accommodation, Transport
  • Supporting the co-ordination of all plant ([Employer hidden] and Hired), including maintenance in conjunction with Stores.
  • Liaise with Client regarding programme/forward planning / co-ordination.
  • All aspects of Health and Safety on specific contract.
  • Continued operative improvement through instruction and/or training.
  • Helping maintain paperwork on a weekly basis
  • Supporting with arranging and carrying out Tool Box Talks weekly on all disciplines of work.
  • Supporting appraisals where needed
  • Quality control
  • All other reasonable duties required by the Company
