£14.60 per hour Regardless of age

Shift pattern 6:45pm -7am. Some weekend working required. Full Time 40.25 hours per week.

The role of a Senior care assistant is to ensure the needs of the residents are met in a person-centred way that respects their dignity and promotes independence.

Overview of Job Description

  • To be in overall charge of a speciality or support the person in charge in all aspects of management.
  • To promote privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilment.
  • To support and guide Care assistants to provide personal care.
  • To induct, train and supervise care assistants.
  • To administer medications using MAR charts and [Employer hidden] policies.
  • To report and record information accurately using computer systems.
  • To deal with queries from residents/relatives/visitors.
