Senior .NET Developer

We’re looking for a Senior .NET Developer, to be a core part of one our cross functional teams. Each of our cross-functional teams owns a series of platforms, from development and infrastructure through to ongoing support, so you’ll be a key part of delivering features, enhancements, and general tech related updates within the team. In addition, our teams maintain their own pipelines and infrastructure using IaC best practices.
You’ll be working in an agile team, supporting and mentoring the team in design, development and making high level technical decisions, whilst also working with Product Owners, developers, and external stakeholders to define and work towards achievable goals.
Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
- Building modern .NET Core applications and helping move legacy systems to newer tech (Ruby or VB experience a bonus but not a must).
- Shaping service-driven architecture with .NET Core, APIs and MySQL.
- Building and deploying into Azure, keeping cloud infrastructure resilient.
- Driving technical improvements from idea to production.
- Partnering with UI Developers for end-to-end solutions and working with business stakeholders.
- Designing and working with RESTful APIs, delivering in a CI/CD environment.
- Pushing for high coding standards across the team.
A Few Things About You
- Proven experience building Web based .NET Solutions
- Experience with Git, GitHub/Azure Dev ops
- Familiarity with agile environments
- Experience/knowledge of developing for the cloud
- Experience with CI and Automation tools
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Able to communicate well with technical and non-technical people
- Comfortable working independently
- Preferred knowledge of Azure PaaS services
- Preferred eCommerce development
- Experience with modern Frontend technologies React/Vue desirable but not essential
- Experience in TDD desirable but not essential
