Job Summary

The House of [Employer hidden] is seeking skilled and service-driven Bartenders to join our bar team. Spanning eight distinctive bars across five floors, our venue blends luxury hospitality with high-energy nightlife and immersive entertainment, offering a dynamic and engaging experience for our members and guests.

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, restaurant-into-late-night environment, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and quality across all aspects of beverage service. With a strong understanding of bar operations, guest engagement, and commercial awareness, you will contribute to the overall success of the venue by maintaining high standards, supporting seamless service flow, and enhancing the guest experience.

This role is well-suited for experienced hospitality professionals who thrive in high-energy environments, have a keen eye for detail and presentation, and possess a passion for delivering outstanding experiences in a nightlife setting.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high level of professional and engaging bar service, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across all drinks.
  • Execute service with precision, maintaining a seamless workflow and adapting to different bar environments.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of cocktail preparation, spirits, wines, and premium beverage offerings, confidently guiding guests through the menu.
  • Foster an immersive and energetic guest experience, tailoring recommendations and personalising interactions to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain bar mise en place, ensuring stations are fully stocked, clean, and set up for smooth and efficient service.
  • Manage stock levels during service, communicating with bar backs and supervisors to maintain operational readiness.
  • Follow strict health, safety, and licensing regulations, ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws and venue policies.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team, including waitstaff, floor managers, and security, to ensure a smooth and efficient service flow.
  • Monitor and manage transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in handling guest tabs and orders.
  • Engage members and guests with confidence, recognising opportunities to enhance their experience and encourage exploration of the venue's full offerings.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue through thoughtful service, such as promoting premium selections and venue exclusives.
  • Support venue activations, private events, and live performances, adapting service styles as required for different occasions.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in efficiency and service standards, providing feedback and assisting in process refinement where necessary.

About You

  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a high-end bar, or cocktail driven late-night venue is required.
  • Strong technical knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beverage service, with a keen interest in ongoing learning and development.
  • A confident and adaptable service style, able to balance efficiency with engaging and personalised guest interactions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, maintaining composure and focus under pressure.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, collaborating effectively across departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Availability to work late nights, weekends, and peak event periods, in line with the operational demands of the venue.
